نیازها و معیارها در طراحی چراغ

معیار اصلی ما در طراحی چراغ های سقفی و دیواری، زیبایی و داشتن کیفیتی مناسب

با استفاده از بهترین متریال های استیل ضد زنگ بود.

با این رویکرد که محصولات باید ظاهری شکیل داشته باشند و  معیار های زیبایی شناسی روز در طراحی را رعایت کرده باشند وارده پروسه ی تولید شدیم .

در تولید چراغ ها با چالش های زیادی رو به رو شدیم.

از آنجایی که محصول جنبه‌ی زینتی دارد جزئیاتی چون مشخص نبودن جای اتصالات و بی موج بودن صفحه های آلومینیوم دارای اهمیت بالایی بود .

Needs and Criteria

The design of the locomotive’s body is in a way that makes it aesthetically pleasing, rigid enough, and with minimum distraction factors for the driver. It should be resistant to the possible obstacles and may sway it out of its rail. The train’s interior has all the necessary tools installed, but the design is not over-complex; the driver can push the buttons and use the handles, etc., as smoothly and quickly as possible.

All the cameras and mirrors installed at the optimum locations help the driver control the locomotive as safely as possible while still considering their comfort.

Challenges

The mining site is generally a hazardous setting, which makes the locomotive’s operator prone to various accidents; As industrial designers, we tried to consider these accidents and design a solution for each of these hazardous factors.

One of the aspects of transportation design is the exterior of the vehicle. The locomotive’s body is designed firmly and won’t be affected by hazardous factors such as rocks and unintentional obstacles that are on its way. This locomotive won’t be swayed out of the rails and is not prone to accidents. It will push away all the hazardous objects out of their way and keep on a steady pace without any hardships.

Final Design

The lack of focus on user experience and user interface in the previous models made us put a significant effort to fill all the loopholes that resulted in a vehicle with low affordance. We took a user-centered design approach in our design process. The final design was by far the user-friendliest product available.

While starting this project, our priorities were functionality, aesthetics, and ergonomics based on the locomotive’s function. We asked ourselves when, where, and how the locomotive will be used and tried to answer these questions with our design in the best way possible.

. Camera Function

The pop-up camera with a night-vision property is installed in case that the tunnel is not clear enough. The camera also eliminates the possibility of the operator putting them out of the wagon and putting themselves in danger.

The side mirrors of the locomotive are designed with multiple hinges that can turn up to 70 degrees if the path and tunnel are not wide enough for the mirrors to fit in.

. Interior Design

The user interface was our foremost priority while tackling the interior design matter. It had to be usable, accessible, and minimal at the same time because of the locomotive’s dangerous setting. The driver has to have minimal distracting factors around him while having all the controls near them. The interaction between the user and the product should be easy, fast, and easy to learn.

.Dimension

Aesthetics was the second factor in our exterior design, and we made sure it is put into consideration. The color palette and the gestalt of this design are chosen very carefully. We started our design process with various mood boards and eliminated the unfit choices with the proper design methodology. All these resulted in our final form that is displayed here.

And we offered the colors

The color palette that we chose lastly is from a mood board that we designed based on various design factors that we indicated as our priority. Such as the industrial setting that a mining site has. This palette is aesthetically pleasing and gives off the warning message that should always be in mind in an industrial environment.
